Many people are concerned about the events and changes that are occurring under the current administration in Ukraine. The Ukrainian National Women's League of America (UNWLA) is disturbed by these events and the violations of basic human rights, such as the right to peaceful assembly and freedom of the press, and has decided to make a strong protest to the President of Ukraine. A letter has been written to President Yanukovych by UNWLA and Branch 54 of Soyuz Ukrainok will be collecting signatures for this letter today and next Sunday and asks for your support. Copies of the letter will be available. |

For the St Nicholas End of Summer Picnic! The picnic will take place on Sunday, September 12th from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on the Church grounds and in the hall. Plan on plenty of good food, good friends and fun games for kids and adults! All parishioners and their families are invited and we encourage you to bring along a friend or two to introduce them to our parish. Let's spend a wonderful summer/fall afternoon together! Attendance sign up sheets will be placed in the church hall and vestibule next Sunday. Don't forget, the picnic committee gratefully accepts donations towards the picnic.
